This site provides a host of biographies of the ship Brooklyn passengers of 1846 and related materials. Each of the 238 passengers has a history available on the site that can be read on-line or printed in PDF format. The purpose of the site is to make available to readers the authors’ research that has taken ten years to accumulate. There is a one-time charge for access to the biographies of $19.95 to help offset the thousands of dollars spent in travel and research to seek out the passengers’ history and maintain the website. The biographies and related material comprise over 800 pages of text.
